The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has condemned the act of some members who stormed the Suame Police Station last Sunday.

In a telephone interview with the host of Opemsuo morning show, Nkwantananso, Kwame Zu said they have condemned the act because “two wrongs do not make a right.”

He explained ” it is a very difficult situation if you are a Ghanaian and know the police are supposed to work with fairness and professionalism…as a human being you might lose your temper but as a political party founded on the tenet of democracy and the rule of law, we have condemned any act of misconduct.”

He however beseeched the state institutions to raise their level of professionalism.

“If you are a policeman, you do the work of a policeman while the politicians mount the campaign stages”
