We Don’t Use 3rd Parties for Admission- KNUST

The Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has warned the public against “criminal syndicates” purporting to be working as third parties in the admission process of the institution.

In a statement, it noted that it has not sanctioned such individuals operating through knust.inscript@gmail.com and knust.inscripton@gmail.com to solicit payments and personal information from unsuspecting applicants as it entreated all prospective students and parents/guardians to exercise extreme caution to avoid falling victim.

The institution observes that such syndicates falsely claim to facilitate admissions for prospective students.

“KNUST wishes to state unequivocally that it has not authorised any individuals, agents, or third parties to handle admissions on behalf of the University,” it emphasized.

It noted that all admission processes are managed solely by the University’s Admissions Office.

“We urge all prospective students and their parents/guardians to disregard any of such fraudulent communications and report them immediately to the nearest police station.

“For clarity, we remind all stakeholders that official KNUST admission forms can be obtained from the following legitimate sources: Undergraduate Admission Forms: Available at all Regional Post Offices nationwide or dial the short code *885# and follow the prompts to buy forms. Postgraduate Admission Forms are available at designated banks.”
