We Aren’t Recruiting Workers- NHIA Boss
The Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye, has debunked reports that his outfit is recruiting personnel in the aftermath of the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
According to him, all recruitment activities by the NHIA were concluded in October 2024 and conducted in strict adherence to the law, relevant regulations, procedures, and best practices.
Meanwhile, he reiterated that appointments and confirmations for director-level positions are the sole functions of the Public Services Commission and do not fall within the purview of the Authority.
“The Authority may however communicate such outcomes to the applicants after receipt of a full report from the Public Services Commission.”
Mr Dacosta, therefore, urged the public to disregard the misleading reports.
“The NHIA advises the public to disregard any false claims or threats regarding last-minute recruitments. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all our operations.”
