The Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko SC, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has expressed his joy following Kotoko’s ability to pull off a scintillating performance to come back to grab the three maximum points after going down on the 64th minute through Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s phenomenal goal.
The Porcupine Warriors struggled to find the back of the net after numerous chances in the first half of the game, thanks to Dreams FC goalkeeper, Solomon Agbesi’s brilliant saves.
Asante Kotoko had to brave the odds in second half to mark their first game with a resounding victory, which was done in a symmetrical fashion with seven minutes to end the game.
Mudasiru got the equalizer for the Porcupine Warriors on 85th minute of the game before Isaac Oppong increased the scoreline for the away side two minutes later.
Richmond Lamptey scored in the closing minutes of the game with his trademark goal to give the Porcupine Warriors a deserving 3-1 win.
