We Are Facing Hardship – Traders
Traders at Brofoyedu in the Ashanti region under Bekwai Municipality have groaned over the problem they are facing in the marketplace.
This hardship is due to a promise the government made to the residents at Brofoyedu.
According to the residents, the New Patriotic Party government promised to initiate a road construction project in their area, and due to this, all traders at the roadside moved away.
The road construction project has been left hanging at the initial stage.
“We are very disappointed in the NPP government”.
The traders said nobody relocated them to a different place after they moved from their previous place of trade. “Sales have decreased”, they added.
Moreover, the deplorable road makes movement difficult in the area.
The traders urged the government to complete the road construction project to help reduce traffic and also they pleaded for a new place to trade.
