{Watch} Moment Kofi Adomah Was Shot In the Face
Footage capturing the chilling moment broadcast journalist Kofi Adomah Nwanwani was shot in the face during official duty has been released.
The one-minute seventeen seconds video captured various angle shots of the incident that happened in December 2024 and had left him with a life-threatening injury, according to his employer.
The video captured him taking coverage with a phone while a musketeer fired the shot that landed straight into his face.
“Kofi Adoma was directed from where he was standing to move to the left side so he could get a clearer view. Strangely the gunman did not raise the gun but shot his face,” the video released by Kofi TV captioned.
It noted that the release of the footage was not aimed at promoting violence but to “authenticate a news story and provide factual information to our audience”.
The incident happened while covering an event at Dormaa. The news of the incident went viral only a few days ago.
In a statement, his media network said Kofi was “indisposed and has been hospitalized”.
Following heightened concerns about the broadcaster, his wife issued a brief statement saying he was stable.
In a subsequent video on social media, she confirmed that it was not an accident as some had perceived but a deliberate act to hurt her husband.
