Wanderlust Ghana to Give out Cars Used for UK Trip to Museum
The group of Ghanaians who undertook a road trip from Ghana to the United Kingdom (UK), Wanderlust Ghana intends to turn the five cars used for the adventurous trip into monuments in any museum that would show interest in them.
The cars, five different Ghanaian registered vehicles included a Mercedez Benz G-Wagon, two Toyota Landcruisers (V8), a Lexus RX 350 and a Ford F150, Raptor.
The group of 12 including one woman is prepared to give out to any museum in the country that would approach them for them.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, Kwadwo Saka Addo Mensah, a member of the group said they would be undertaking another epic road trip this year after which the cars would be given out.
He believes the car would serve well in telling the tales about the trips they embarked on in generations to come.
“We hope our cars would be taken in by any Museum in Ghana. These things we are doing are funded from our pockets. There’s no support and we are now looking for sponsors.
“The cars need tyres, fuel, and our accommodation. We can give the cars to the government to keep at the National Museum when we come back if only we get sponsorship. It will enable generations to know about these adventures,” he told Opemsuo Radio’s George Addo.
