(VIDEO): Road Toll Management Withholds 10 Months Salary Of Disabled Workers.

The Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) for Disable Road Toll Collectors, Mr. Obour Boateng Emmanuel, has disclosed that the Road and Toll Management have refused to pay them for the past 10 months.
“The Ministry of Roads and Highways employed us and they recognized our good works. Road and Toll Management took over. We continued working but the treatment we have been receiving from them is bad”, he said.
He was speaking on Opemsuo Radio on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
According to the Public Relations Officer, the working conditions of the Ministry of Roads and Highways are entirely different from the Road and Toll Management.
“We were calculating our own money at the end of work but the current working conditions are not permitting us” he added.
The Public Relations Officer explained that at the end of the 8-hour working period, the Supervisor’s code is used to access the total amount of money realized.
The Supervisor now does the counting alone which makes it difficult for us to know the total amount of money realized”
He added that there is a target for the 8 hours and one can exceed or fail.
He pleaded with the Government and Mr. Amoako Atta to help them with their 10 months payment and better conditions of service.
