VIDEO: Flood Waters Compete With Vehicles On Accra Roads After Downpour
The Friday morning heavy downpour has wreaked havoc on some roads in Accra according to footage shared by Blogger Kobby Kyei on Twitter.
The Accra-Kasoa road Old barrier, Ofankor barrier, Achimota Highway, and SCC-Barrier have been heavily flooded, footage shared on social media has confirmed.
In a video shared by Atinka TV on the flood at the SCC barrier, a kiosk is spotted being dragged along by the flood.
Additionally, houses and structures could be spotted almost submerged in the flood.
At the Ofankor barrier, the video clip showed vehicles manoeuvring their way in the flood.
At the Accra-Kasoa road Old barrier, a lane of the road was abandoned to the flood waters as vehicles lined up on a lane waiting for the aggressive flood water to recede.
