United Say Tunnel Redesigning will be Ready Before Fulham Clash

Manchester United have started construction works to give the players’ tunnel at their home grounds a motivating facelift and have assured that it will be ready before their first game in the 2024/2025 season.

A statement released by the Club on Tuesday said the modern facelift ongoing at Old Trafford is aimed at inspiring and motivating the players and trainees during match days.

“Manchester United is pleased to report that work has commenced on a redesign of the iconic players’ tunnel at Old Trafford.”

The redesigning will also immortalize the memories of former club president John Henry Davis and former owner James W. Gibson.

It added, “Led by the football department, this summer’s refurbishment will introduce a more modern and premium space for the squads to utilise.”

“As fans on the stadium tour will have seen in recent days, work at Old Trafford has already begun and the project will be completed in time for the 2024/25 season.”

The club does not envisage this to interrupt their first game in the next season.
They will host Fulham in the 2024/2025 campaign on Friday, August 16 before they travel to East Sussex for a Brighton encounter.

The Reds will be seeking to impress their fans and cement a suitable place in the league in the coming season after finishing eighth with 60 points last season.
