UCC Postpones Opening Date For Fresh Students
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has postponed the opening date for first year students.
A statement issued by the Registrar of the University, Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye (Esq) on November 21 said the decision has been necessitated by circumstances beyond its control.
He, however, did not provide a new date, noting that the postponement would remain in effect “until further notice”.
“It is hereby announced for the information of all fresh level 100 students of the University of Cape Coast and the general public that, due to circumstances beyond the control of University Management, the re-opening date for fresh level 100 students of the University for the 2024/2025 Academic Year has been rescheduled until further notice.”
Meanwhile, he directed all fresh students to reprint their admission letters which will reflect the new date.
The statement added, “We regret the inconvenience caused.”
