UCC and UG Directs Awaiting Results Applicants to Complete Application
The University of Cape Coast and the University of Ghana have separately directed all awaiting results applicants to complete their application process.
The directive follows the release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) om Monday.
In a statement, the UCC said their application portal is open until January 5, 2025.
“Applicants are to log into the application portal with their e-voucher details to update the accuracy of their full names, WASSCE index numbers and choice of programmes.”
Additionally, it said new applications are welcome within the period, directing interested persons to purchase e-vouchers at designated sale centres as advertised earlier to apply.
In their separate statements, UG said its application portal will be closed at midnight on Friday, January 3, 2024.
It added, “Refer to the UG 2023/2024 entry cut-off aggregates for various programmes at https://admissions.ug.edu.gh/undergraduate/cut-off and make realistic choices.”
It further announced that it welcomes applications for 2024/2025 admissions, directing interested persons to purchase e-vouchers at designated banks or through the USSD code *887*9# on all mobile telecommunication networks.
