Two Police Officers Advanced For Arresting Colleague With “India Hemp”
The Ghana Police Service has announced the promotion of two police officers for their role in the arrest of their colleague who was found with dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
The names of the two officers were given as Inspector Azumah Komla Justice and No. 52543 G/L/CpL Felix Diameh.
The two police officers reportedly borrowed a car and pursued No. 45638 G/Sgt Lotsu Agbeko after he failed to comply with their orders to stop at a checkpoint while he was carrying dried leaves in his car boot.
They finally captured Agbeko after he was involved in an accident.
The two officers found “84 parcels of compressed dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp in his car”.
Commending the driver who availed his car to the two officers, the Ghana Police Service said “we once again commend the Police Officers for their patriotism, vigilance and dedication to duty”.
