Teenage Girls Found Dead Along Roadside

The residents of Okrakwado in the Eastern Region of Ghana have woken up to the sight of the dead bodies of two teenage girls along a roadside.

The two girls are said to be residents of the community.

They have been identified as Yvonne Ansah and Esther Oyeh.

According to reports, the girls, both 16 years of age, went on a journey to Mintakrom on Monday, August 29, 2022, to visit their boyfriends.

The next time they were seen at Okrakwadwo was when their dead bodies were found along a road.

An SMS purportedly sent by the boyfriend of one of the girls threatened her for visiting without prior notice, according to reports.

The police have already begun investigations into their death.
