Tariff Adjustment: I’m Not Expecting Magic From The Economic Management Team- Felix Kwakye Ofosu

Former Deputy Information Minister under the National Democratic Congress in the John Dramani Mahama Administration, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu is calling on President Nana Addo Danquah to dismiss Finance Minister Ken Ofori Attah and eliminate his Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia from his post as the Head of the Economic Management Team since he is not performing well to expectation.

Speaking with Opemsuo News, he revealed that around 2014-2015 Dr. Bawumia posted on his Facebook page saying that “You cannot plot a debt hole with more debt so why is the government borrowing as the only panacea to steering the free fall of the cedi which will not do much for the country” he questioned.

Hon. Kwakye emphasized that at this time the citizens expect the President to show leadership and show some signals that his outfit is not happy but he has failed to do so. He stated that Dr. Bawumia’s outcome and impact on the economic management is the worst since the beginning of the fourth Republic.

The former Abura Asebu- Kwamankese MP has cautioned Dr. Bawumia not to contest the presidential race else he will be defeated tremendously because he does not carry any utility for the position. He said that during the tenure of the NDC Dr. Bawumia derived and attacked late the Paa Kwesi Amissah Attah and the economic management for not functioning well on his wrong duty.
