Speaker Of Parliament Donates Money And Food Items To Street Children To Mark His 65th Birthday
The Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon Alban Sumana Bagbin has donated a sum of Ghc 50, 000.00 and food items also worth Ghc 50, 000.00 to the Hopeland Training Center of the Catholic Action for Street Children at Adjei Kojo in Tema West Constituency to mark his 65th Birthday which fell on Saturday 24th September 2022.
Rt. Hon Alban Bagbin urged government and political leaders to create the necessary conditions for child survival and development through policy formulation, laws, and provision of social infrastructure.
According to the Hon, much has been done by various governments in the country to improve the conditions of children but a lot more remains to be done to make more progress in improving the lives of children in the country.
He, therefore, admonished parents and society to take good care of children to help them become good future leaders.
The Director of the Hopeland Training Center Rev. Cosmos Kawuna thanked the Speaker Rt. Hon Bagbin for his kind gesture to the kids at the training center.
