UN Peace Ambassador Pledges Full Support for President Mahama’s Administration

His Excellency Bishop Dr. Akwasi Adu Amankwah, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Assembly, has expressed his unwavering commitment to supporting the administration of President John Dramani Mahama.
Drawing from the valuable insights and wisdom gained under the guidance of the Asante Kingdom’s revered leader, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and his extensive experience as a UN Global Peace Ambassador, he pledged to collaborate with Ghanaians in the diaspora.
He promised to offer President Mahama the necessary backing to propel Ghana to the prominence it rightfully deserves.
In light of President Mahama’s recent inauguration, the respected clergy emphasized the importance of setting aside political divisions and focusing on national unity.
As the administration embarks on implementing key policies for national development, he urged Ghanaians to unite in working towards the country’s advancement.
“Now is the time for all of us to come together and work towards the rapid progress of our beloved country,” Bishop Amankwah stated.
Additionally, he encouraged President Mahama to prioritize the implementation of policies aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
These goals aim to tackle critical issues such as poverty eradication, environmental sustainability, social equity, and economic growth—areas essential to Ghana’s long-term prosperity.
Through collective effort and collaboration, Bishop Amankwah believes that Ghana can achieve its potential on the global stage.
