ECG Announces Revenue Mobilisation Intensification to ‘Mop Up’ Arrears Before Dec 31

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) states that it will intensify its Revenue Mobilisation operations to clear arrears by the end of this year.

This exercise will take place throughout the month of December, including the Christmas holidays, it said in a statement.

“This exercise is to ensure we mop up all arrears in the system by the end of the year, 31st December, 2025.”

It will focus on all categories of customers in arrears as it advised them to use their regular channels, including the ECG Mobile App, to pay their bills and avoid disconnection, to enable them to enjoy the Christmas festivities.

The Company noted that the Revenue mobilisation teams will be identified by their staff identity cards.

“The customers are strongly advised to inspect their ID cards before allowing them onto their premises to avoid impostors.”

“Customers may visit the nearest ECG office, call our contact centre on 0302611611, or visit our social media handles via @EGghOfficial for any enquiry/assistance.”
