Denyasehene, Oboguhene and Sabronumhene Inducted Into Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs

Three new traditional leaders have been inducted into the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs.

They are Nana Akosa Yiadom III, Denyasehene, Nana Owusu Ampe, Oboguhene and Nana Kofi Asante, Sabronumhene.

Their induction was conducted during the first meeting of the House on July 18, 2025.

Justice Mrs Asmah Taylor, the Supervising High Court Judge of the Ashanti Region administered the oaths of office, secrecy and judiciary.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, who presided over the meeting charged the new members of the House to abide by the oaths they had sworn.

“Abide by the oath, particularly the oath of secrecy. I welcome you to help the rest of chiefs here to do the work.”
