The Ministry of Interior has renewed the curfew on Sampa in Jaman North District of the Bono Region.

A statement by the Ministry said the curfew imposed by an Executive Instrument begins at 10:00 pm and ends at 4:00 am each day.

This takes effect on May 1, 2025.

It has also banned residents in the affected town from carrying arms, ammunition, or any offensive weapons.

“Any person found with any arms or ammunition will be arrested and prosecuted.”
