Ghana Airports Company Limited Under OSP Scrutiny

The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) is under the scrutiny of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) for suspected corruption and corruption-related offences.
The Office is investigating the company for its operations under the previous administration.
“The Office is investigating suspected corruption and corruption-related offences in respect of the operations and contractual arrangements of Ghana Airport Company limited between 2020 and 2024.”
It is also investigating the Ghana Education Service (GES) for large-scale sale of appointment letters to prospective teachers and laundering of the proceeds of the unlawful enterprise; National Commission on Culture operations between 2020-2024; procurement processes leading to the award and execution of a contract by the Ghana revenue authority to Tata Consulting Services.
Other entities under probe are the National Service Authority; Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF); Ministry of Health; National Cathedral; Tema Oil Refinery; Electricity Company of Ghana Limited; National Sports Authority; Ghana Water Company Limited; Customs Division of Ghana Revenue Authority; and Bank of Ghana.
There are also 152 other cases at the preliminary investigation stage pending before the OSP.
