Parliamentary Select Committee on Health Begins Regional Hospitals Tour

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Health will begin a tour of some regional and teaching hospitals in the country.

The official visits will begin today, April 22, 2025, and end on April 25, 2025.

The team will use the visit to evaluate the current state of each medical facility, identify challenges, and develop strategies for improved healthcare delivery.

The hospitals they are scheduled to tour are Damongo Regional Hospital, Techiman Regional Hospital, Sunyani Regional Hospital, and Goaso Regional Hospital.

This was announced by the Parliamentary Service in a notice.

This exercise has become imperative as most of the medical facilities across the country are in deterioration with some lacking essential health apparatus for optimum health care delivery.
