We Aren’t Running Any Programme Offering ₵1,800 Monthly Grant- Gender Ministry.
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) has disclaimed a circulating communique announcing the disbursement of ₵1,800 monthly grants to Ghanaian citizens.
The communique claimed that the said initiative is being run under a National Protection Programme by the Ghana Social Support Authority.
The Ministry described the communique as fake in a statement issued on May 22.
“The Ministry wishes to categorically state that it is not running any programme by that name and has not authorized any institution known as the Ghana Social Support Authority to offer any grant on its behalf.”
It further advised the public to disregard the post.
“The public is strongly advised to disregard this fraudulent post and refrain from clicking on suspicious links or submitting any personal information.”
