Hearts of Oak Marks 114 Years Since Establishment

Hearts of Oak Sporting Club is marking its 114th Anniversary following its establishment in 1911.
It recognises that the club has grown from its Accra roots into a national treasure and an internationally recognised institution.
In a statement, it posited that the club is an “institution, a symbol of resilience, and a beacon of Ghanaian pride.”
It conveyed its appreciation to all its stakeholders for the support over the years.
“To our loyal supporters, you remain the lifeblood of this club. Your chants and songs inspire our players to victory, and your passion has earned us the title ‘The Continental Club Masters.’ Hearts of Oak is more than a team; it is a legacy passed down from generation to generation, and we honour you today. To our stakeholders, we call for unity, professionalism, transparency, and mutual respect. The future of Hearts of Oak depends on collaboration and shared purpose.”
It acknowledged the contribution of Togbe Afede XIV and the Board for their visionary leadership that has rekindled past glory and driven transformative projects.
Hearts boasts of six CAF Champions League and Super Cup titles as well as an unmatched dominance in the Ghana Premier League.
