Sellers At Adum Complains Of Poor Sanitation
Traders in the Central Business District of Adum near the Methodist church and behind the Kumasi Central Police station are complaining of bad sanitation in the area.
They claim that a gutter at Adum, which connects to the central police station, discharges faeces on a daily basis by the very resident in the area.
According to the traders, the stench that emanates from the gutter is very bad which poses a dangerous threat to their health.
“This problem has been in existence for over 18 years now. We have complained about it for a long period but nothing has been done about it”.
“Most political officials in the region are aware of this situation but nothing has been done to help solve this problem. We plead for help”, they added.
