We’ve Not Reinstated Teacher Kwadwo- GES

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has dispelled reports that Mr. Michael Owusu Afriyie, known as Teacher Kwadwo, has been reappointed to the Service.

In a statement, it said the news was false.

“The Ghana Education Service wishes to state that the report is false. Mr. Owusu Afriyie has not been reinstated.”

The GES, in its statement, noted that Afriyie can submit a formal petition in writing for due consideration if he deems his dismissal contestable.
“The public is hereby advised to disregard the false reports.”

The former teacher of the Akrofrom District Assembly Primary School in the Ashanti Region was dismissed in 2021 for insubordination and misconduct.
