Asantehene At 23: We Have Declared Otumfuo As A Member Of GBA
President of the Ghana Bar Association, Lawyer Yaw Acheampong Boafo, has expressed the profound gratitude of the Ghana Bar Association to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his immense contribution to the association.
He stated that, Otumfuo in-all-ways, has never turned his back on the members of the association who are predominantly lawyers. He said Otumfuo has supported the Ghana Bar Association in every bit of their programmes right from 1999 to date.
“It is for this reason the Ghana bar Association has declared him as an honorary member of the Association”, he said.
The Ghana Bar Association President added that, Otumfuo has shown keen interest in everything that involves Ghana as a country. He divulged that Otumfuo has been an undisputed personality in mediating in the affairs of politics especially after elections and misunderstanding arrives.
He added that, anywhere the Asantehene goes, he goes in the name of Ghana and not Asanteman necessarily.
