Sustain Your Remarkable Form, Eye Victory- Black Starlets Told

Ghana’s U-17 team has been encouraged to maintain their remarkable form in the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship.

In a congratulatory statement, the Ministry for Sports and Recreation urged the boys to target the ultimate prize as they advance to the finals.

“As you prepare for the final match on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, against the host nation, a game that also guarantees an automatic qualification to next year’s continental championship in Morocco 2026 U-17, we encourage you to sustain your remarkable form and aim for victory.”

The Minister emphasised that winning the trophy will be a historic achievement.

It further called on all Ghanaians and the entire sports fraternity to keep the Black Starlets in their prayers.

As part of its congratulatory message, Minister Kofi Iddle Adams, patted them for their outstanding performance against Nigeria in the semi-finals.

“One Ghana, one voice: Congratulations, Black Starlets!”
