A/R: Two Die In Kwasu Accident

Officials have pegged the death toll in Monday’s accident at Kwasu, off the Bechem–Techimantia road in the Ahafo Region, to two.

The accident involved a Toyota Voxy with registration number AS 6403-25.

A statement by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said two of the eight occupants of the vehicle were found dead at the scene, while the remaining six sustained various degrees of injuries.

Their bodies were handed over to the police while the injured were transported to the Bechem Government Hospital by the National Ambulance Service for medical attention.

“The cause of the accident remains under investigation.”
