Isaac Tandoh Appointed Acting CEO of Minerals Commission

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Small-scale and Industrial Minerals, Isaac Tandoh, will take over the reins at the Minerals Commission.
He takes over from Martin Kwaku Ayisi, his boss who has been reassigned to the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources as the Technical Advisor.
A statement by the Minerals Commission said the appointment takes effect on September 16, 2025.
“Mr. Tandoh assumes this role with over 23 years of high-level leadership experience in the mining industry, having risen through the ranks to become a Mine Manager and worked with some of the country’s complex large-scale mining companies prior to joining the Commission.”
In his remarks, Mr. Tandoh paid tribute to the legacy of Mr. Ayisi and reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the Commission’s values and driving its strategic objectives forward.
The Commission has since pledged its full support to Mr. Tandoh as he assumes his new leadership responsibilities.
