Mahama Mourns Kenyan Politician Raila Odinga

President John Dramani Mahama has publicly mourned the demise of Kenyan politician Raila Odinga.

In a brief statement, he described the death of the five-time unsuccessful Presidential candidate as a “sad loss” to the globe while commiserating with the Kenyan government, his immediate family and the people of Kenya.

“My condolences, President William Samoei Ruto, Mama Idah Odinga, the Odinga Odinga family and the people of #Kenya.”

The 80-year-old reportedly collapsed and died on Wednesday during a morning walk and was pronounced dead at a health facility.

His death followed weeks of speculation about his deteriorating health condition.
