Semenyo, Salisu Leave Black Stars Camp

Interim Black Stars captain, Antoine Semenyo and centre-back Mohammed Salisu have left camp after sustaining injuries.
According to a statement by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Semenyo has a Left anterior talo-fibula ligament sprain, which was aggravated during the game against Japan.
This, it said, motivated his replacement in the 55th minute during Ghana’s game against Japan last week.
On the other hand, Salisu has a bilateral medial collateral ligament sprain, as confirmed by Monaco and the Black Stars medical teams.
“Mohammed Salisu and Antoine Semenyo have returned to their clubs due to injuries.”
This has reduced Coach Otto Addo’s squad to 19 players for the friendly match against South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul.
