Asantehene Celebrates Ghanaian Female Senior Research Scientist at Google
The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has celebrated Dr Mercy Nyamewaa Asiedu, a Ghanaian female Senior Research Scientist at Google Research, as a shining inspiration to women.
Commending the Inventor of Callascope, the Asantehene stated that she is a testament to the fact that excellence knows no boundaries when it is guided by vision and discipline.
“I commend you, my dear daughter, not only for your brilliant scholarship but for standing as a shining inspiration for the youth of Ghana, especially to our young women who aspire to build careers in science and technology.”
Dr Mercy Nyamewaa Asiedu, who is a US-Based Biomedical Engineer, as part of the 59th Congregation of KNUST, delivered the 13th Edition of the RP BAFFOUR MEMORIAL LECTURE SERIES.
It was delivered under the theme: “Super Intelligent AI Agents: An Existential Threat to the Human Race? Navigating Through the Intricacies of the AI Revolution.”
