Interior Minister Announces Easter Holidays

The Minister for Interior, Hon Muntaka Mubarak, has announced the Easter holidays for this year.

A brief statement issued by the Minister on Monday highlighted the impending Good Friday and Easter Monday.

He noted that they are Statutory Public Holidays and should be observed as such throughout the country.

The Holidays will fall on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21.

Christians across the globe will on the two occasions relive the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ the Saviour.
