DVLA Offers Free Registration and Training For Buzstopboys

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has offered to register the vehicles and motorcycles of Buzstopboys at no cost.

It also intends to offer the group’s volunteers free training in using their vehicle to enhance safety.

In a notice on August 25, the Authority said this forms part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

“Buzstopboys is a volunteer group with the objective of ensuring a clean environment and environmentally-friendly practice. The group, since its inception, has engaged in community clean-ups as well as educating the public against indiscriminate littering of the environment.”

The Authority believes that partnerships of this nature are important in building a sustainable and clean environment that is responsive to the needs of the citizens.
