New Sebedee Chief Vows to Develop Community and Protect Stool Lands

Nana Kofi Appiah Ababio, the newly enstooled Chief of Nyinasinase Sebedee has pledged his commitment to the development of the community and protection of all stool lands in the area.

He made this profound commitment at the Manhyia Palace when he was officially introduced to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II by the Chief of Nyinasinase, Nana Gyamanin Awere II, on Saturday, 28th October, 2023.

“One thing I know is that Otumfuo is  development oriented, truthful and a King of integrity and he expects same from all Chiefs in the Asante Kingdom. So I am in for unity, honesty and development, all that I ask of my people is their full support and eschew all forms of disturbances and violence so that together we can develop the community.”

He further indicated his intent to develop the community into a tourist center to generate revenue for the development of the community.

In that regard, he has vowed to reclaim and consolidate all stool lands entrusted to his care.

They were accompanied to the palace by some members of the royal family including Sebedee Abusuapanin, Nana Kofi Amponsah and some elders.

Sebedee is a community under the jurisdiction of the Nyinasinase Traditional Area in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality in the Ashanti Region.
