Deputy Agric Minister: Market Traders Are Not The Cause Of Food Prices Hikes

The Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture and a Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia Constituency Honourable Yaw Frimpong Addo has announced that, the whole world is in economic crisis but the rate of how the public are making complaints about food staff prices is very serious.

Honorable Frimpong Addo said that there is plenty of food in the country at the moment but fuel price hikes have caused the problem which the ministry is working on it immediately.

According to Mr. Frimpong Addo, the increment in food prices at the market recently is not caused by the market women or traders in any way but due to economic hardship in the country.

He revealed that, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture has put up safety measures in place to support drivers in rural areas to reduce high costs of living.
