‘Direct’ Family of Lumba Applies For Court Injunction Against His Funeral

The ‘direct’ family of late musician Charles Kwadwo Fosuh has filed a court injunction against the announced the funeral date and the burial arrangements.
This is in response to what they described as persistent efforts by the family head to marginalise Mrs Akosua Serwah Fosuh, the wedded wife, in all funeral-related decisions.
This, they called “unacceptable” and “contrary to both cultural and moral principles.”
“Due to the confusion and lack of proper communication from the funeral committee, the direct family has filed an injunction on both the funeral date and the burial arrangements until proper dialogue and consensus are achieved.”
Meanwhile, they asked fans and music lovers across the world to disregard any unofficial announcements regarding funeral arrangements.
“The family will provide verified updates through official press releases soon. We assure the public that a respectful and dignified farewell will be given to our beloved Charles Kwadwo Fosuh – one befitting his legacy and the love he shared with millions through his music.”
It was announced two days ago that the funeral and burial of the artiste will take place in Kumasi on December 5, 2025.
