Ken Agyapong ‘Feeling Energised, More Confident Than Ever’ After Vetting
Aspiring 2028 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, says he feels energised and more confident than ever after his vetting.
In a Facebook post, he shared his experience with the vetting committee on September 23, 2025.
“The vetting process is complete. I walked out of that room feeling energised and more confident than ever. It was a really good and honest conversation with the committee. They asked tough but fair questions about my vision for Ghana and our party.”
In response, he said he discussed real solutions, including his plan to apply lessons from the Asian development model to create jobs and prosperity.
“I was grateful for the chance to answer them directly. It was a respectful exchange, and I left no doubt about my readiness to lead.”
The former Assin Central Constituency MP further expressed his gratitude for the prayers and support.
Kennedy is among the five aspiring flagbearers of the NPP. The rest are Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Hon. Dr Bryan Acheampong, H. E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Hon. Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.
