C/R: Man Gets 10 Years For Defiling Teenager

The Cape Coast Circuit Court has handed down a 10-year jail sentence to a man for defiling a 16-year-old.

Eric Asamoah was charged with defilement and pleaded guilty in court.

He was convicted of his own plea and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in hard labour, a statement by the police said on November 7, 2025.

“On November 6, 2025, the defilement case involving the accused person, Eric Asamoah, that occurred on November 2, 2025, was called at Circuit Court two, Cape Coast, presided over by Her Honour Nana Aba Quaiba Nunoo.”

He has since been sent to the Ankaful prison to begin his sentence.
