NPP Presidential Election Committee Meets Aspirants Today

The Presidential Election Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has scheduled a meeting with aspirants today.

A letter addressed to the five stated that they were required to deliberate on matters of great importance related to the upcoming election.

They will also be updated on the ongoing electoral process.

The meeting will take place at the National Headquarters at 11 am.

“Your valued insight and contributions at this meeting will be instrumental in the smooth conduct and overall success of the impending election.”

Contesting for the party’s flagbearer position are Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, former Assin Central MP; Dr. Bryan Acheampong, former Food and Agriculture Minister; Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former Vice President; Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, former Education Minister; and former General Secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.

The election is set for January 31, 2026.
