The Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko SC, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has responded to his critics that he is at the helm of affairs to defend the club at all times but not to cause financial loss.

The young industrious Chief Executive Officer has been criticised for causing financial loss to the Ghanaian giants following the verdicts of the former employees of the club at the Ghana Football Association’s Players Status Committee.

Kotoko is yet to win a case under the watch of Nana Yaw Amponsah at any of the Judicial bodies of the Ghana Football Association, but the CEO insists that they are to defend the club a reason they have also appealed against various decisions from the Status Committee.

In an exclusive live interview with the former Ghana Football Association Presidential aspirant on Opemsuo 104.7fm, he said “my duty as a Kotoko Chief Executive Officer is to defend the club at all times and not to cause financial loss.”

He reckoned that all the issues at the Judicial Department of the Ghana Football Association will not cause debt for the club.

“All our issues at the GFA Player’s Status will be cared for without affecting the club.”
