Special Operation Ongoing to Root Out Criminals- Ashanti North Regional Police Command

The Ashanti North Regional Police Command has assured residents that it is making efforts to root out criminal dens and criminals within the region.

This, it said, is being undertaken through a special operation currently ongoing.

“The police assured the public that the special operation is ongoing to root out remnants of additional suspects and weapons in the region,” it said in a press statement.

The Command reiterated its commitment to combating highway robbery and related crime and ensuring the safety and security of all residents and road users.

Meanwhile, it urged the public to share any relevant information that could aid in the arrest of the suspects.

“The public is encouraged to continue cooperating with the command in this worthy course. Further developments will be communicated in due course.”
