Spanish Side Celta Vigo Complete Permanent Signing of Asante Kotoko Youngster Bernard Somuah

Spanish La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have sealed the permanent acquisition of Ghanaian forward Bernard Somuah from Asante Kotoko, following his impressive impact during his loan spell.
Somuah first moved to Celta on loan in 2024 and continued for a second season after making steady progress with the club’s developmental side, Celta Fortuna. His strong displays convinced the Spanish side to secure a long-term deal for him.
The Sky Blues have rewarded his growth with a four-year contract, underlining their confidence in the 20-year-old as a future asset for the club.
This season, Somuah has been one of the key performers for Celta Fortuna, finding the back of the net five times and delivering consistent attacking contributions.
His latest strike came in their exciting 4–2 triumph over Real Avilés in Group 1 of the Spanish Primera Federación, further highlighting his rising influence at the club.
Somuah will now aim to build on his momentum as he works toward earning a place in the senior squad and establishing himself in Spanish football.
