Slash Your Campaign Budget for Community Development – St. Sark To Dr. Bawumia
The Lord’s Servant of Open Arms Ministry, North Suntreso, Apostle Kofi Nkansah Sarkodie aka St. Sark, has asked the Vice President, to cut down his flagbearer election campaign budget for community development projects in the Northern part of the country.
“Most areas in the northern part of the country where Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia hails from are lacking the basic needs to make living quite comfortable. Therefore it may be inappropriate and unacceptable for the Vice President to ignore the plights of his people in the north and spend huge money campaigning to be elected as NPP flagbearer while his people suffer,” he said
He made this statement at a press conference at the Church auditorium in Kumasi.
He finds it quite disturbing watching people share drinking water with cattle in some communities in the north whiles students sit on stones and the bare floor to study.
He urged the Vice President to be more compassionate and devote a portion of his campaign budget to provide potable water for such communities instead of spending them all on campaigns.
St. Sark debunked assertions that Northerners have not been President before citing the late former President Hila Limann who ruled from 24th September 1979 to 31st December 1981, as a northerner.
