Sell Your Message and Let Ghanaians Decide; Otumfuo to NPP
The Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II believes the outcome of the General election is now in the court of Ghanaians and has therefore counselled the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to focus on selling their message.
He said this after the governing party officially introduced their Flagbearer and Running Mate to him at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on July 9, 2024.
He recognizes that all that remains is for the party to propagate their objective for the country just as their opponents as they seek to win a third consecutive term in power.
“The rest is in the hands of God. Sell your message and let your opponents sell theirs and leave it for Ghanaians to decide.”
His Majesty however assured them of his prayers.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo today introduced the NPP’s ticket for the 2024 Presidential Election to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
He led a contingent made up of executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ministers, Members of Parliament and party supporters to the Palace following the approval of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the Running Mate of their flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Among the delegation were the National Chairman of the party, Stephen Ayensu Ntim, the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the Chief of Staff of the President, Hon Akosua Fremah Opare and the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako.
