See The 40 Nominated DCEs in Ashanti Region

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated 40 District Chief Executives (DCEs) for approval by assemblies in the Ashanti Region.

This was in accordance with Article 243 of the 1992 Constitution and the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) as amended by Local Governance (Amendment) Act, 2017 (Act 940).

A statement by the Secretary to the President announced the nominations on May 6.

Akwasi Adusei was nominated for Ahafo Ano North, Abubakar Sedik for Ahafo Ano South West, Manu Prince Morris for Amansie West, Caesar Acheampong Ofosu for Offinso North, Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu for Juaben and Ibrahim Adams for Sekyere East.

Also there are Raflu Adam Seidu for Ejura Sekyere, Ebenezer Ekow Aidoo for Asante Akim Central, Kwasi Amakwaa for Kumawu, Albert Dakurah for Adansi Asokwa, Eric Asibey Kwadaso, Amoh Kemel for Asokwa and others.
