See 60 Reps Contesting In 2025 Otumfuo Reading Challenge
Sixty Junior High students from 43 Metro, Municipal, and Districts across the Ashanti Region made the cut for this year’s Otumfuo Community Challenge (OCRC).
The contestants booked spots for the 2025 edition after emerging victorious at their respective community level.
The competitors will face off in the knockouts slated to begin on September 1 and end on September 10 at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The OCRC is an impactful initiative organised by the non-governmental organisation of the King of the Asante Kingdom, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The initiative aims to enhance students’ interest in reading both English and Twi while improving their reading skills, which are essential for formal education.
