Security Guard Apprehended After Allegedly Killing Boss In Kumasi
A security guard is in police grips after he was arrested for allegedly murdering his female boss earlier this week.
It is reported Alister John, 22, killed Afia Ahenkan, 35, on Monday, September 11 and bolted afterwards with her car and some items from the house.
The suspect was hunted down and subsequently arrested on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his hideout.
It is reported that the guard was employed just two weeks ago.
The suspect appeared in a video shared on X by blogger SikaOfficial handcuffed and pleading on his knees.
Asked about the car and items he allegedly bolted with, the suspect confessed he had sold them but was quick to add that he still possessed the contact of the buyer.
Meanwhile, relatives of the deceased have called for justice.
“Not up to two weeks when my mom brought the security guard here. I can’t say much but what I want is justice. I want the police to investigate the company and bring out some good news. Because you can’t just come here barely two weeks to commit such a crime. I will leave it to the police to do everything,” CNR cites a relative as saying.
