Scouting for Black Starlets Players Begins Next Week

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced an exercise to identify and recruit talented young players born after January 1, 2009, in the Northern sector of the country early next week.

The exercise will be undertaken by the country’s U17 technical team which includes Head Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso, assistant coaches Jacob Nettey and Nana Agyemang.

It will begin on February 18 and end on March 3, 2025, and cover the Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper East, and Upper West regions.

“To ensure a comprehensive search, the GFA’s scouting teams in these regions have been tasked with submitting lists of talented players to the Regional Chairman, who will then forward them to the GFA.”

According to the FA, the initiative is part of efforts to scout and develop the next generation of players for the Black Starlets.
